It would be good it there's a read-only mode, I can read through my entries without accidentally adding words :)

What would that feature look like? You already need to click into the editor to be able to make changes.

I suggested that because I am using Windows 10 tablet mode. It's so sensitive that when I scroll on the content it opens up the soft keyboard. And without me realized, I accidentally typed some random letters. I was thinking if there's a button to temporarily disable input to the editor

I think this can be added as part of the preferences screen as another option like this:

Before checking Read only:

After checking Read only:

It will make the Editor plugin as read only and as a plus, hide the editor toolbar, because even though the Editor is in read only mode, the toolbar options can still be applied.
