I'd like to get some additional folks as maintainers on this project as I don't have much time to work on it these days, and don't need to be a bottleneck for updates and bug fixes.

I'd love to contribute to this, but I still don't know the code very much.

You might want to add it to Adoptoposs which aims to connect people looking for ways to contribute to OpenSource with projects in need of a(nother) maintainer.

@categulario - Just helping respond to issues (which are low volume) is helpful as I'm not always able to get back to folks quickly.

Though I haven't looked at the code for this project much, Ruby / RoR is my language of choice and I'd be happy to help out however I can @samg!

I wouldn't mind helping out with closing issues. Do you recommend any resources on how best to interact with the repo as a contributor?

Same here, I just found this today. And it is definitely something I would like to contribute to. Will start using it from today, and then also dig into the code to get a better understanding of it.
