Is there a way to play the audio in the Lock-Screen as background? User taps home button but need the audio to keep playing.

It's not just lock screen, it's also when the iOS device is in Silent Mode.

Seems like an important fix... can't understand why this is being held up.

Maybe we can contribute to add these kinds of features if you are going to continue the project. I'm asking this because I've seen many old pull-request which have not been processed yet.
