I think it would be useful to also check other git hosting services such as gitlab, bitbucket, sourceforge, repo.or.cz, and others.

this would mean slowing crater down somewhat, but would also allow more thorough testing.

there probably aren't many Rust projects on there, but it would be nice to support Debian Salsa as well
