Maybe we can keep 22.11 as we did 21.11? So it would be optional to use packages from there?

Hello, 22.05 is already outdated and no one brang the topic up for discussion since then.

IMO we can just keep the regular file with version declaration somewhere and before building .iso users can always just modify those few lines there and there to their liking, including NixOS's version which their RedNixOS will be based on.
