This is an open question. I'm creating a ShinyProxy with a consistent number of Shiny applications. I'm using an Ubuntu machine hosted on Azure. What I'm trying to understand is the performances of a ShinyProxy with its apps.

Do you have any tests (performance or stress test) or test result I can use?

We don't have any concrete results ready, but we do have some large deployments with many users and apps, but I don't know the exact numbers. Note that the amount of apps doesn't really matter for the performance of a ShinyProxy server, instead it's the amount of concurrent users that will make a difference. In addition the underlying hardware (be it virtualised) also plays a role in the performance of ShinyProxy.

I'll keep this issue open, since we do have some plans to asses the performance of ShinyProxy in a more rigorous way. I'll share the results when they are available.
