Would it be possible to implement this feature? I mean outside the emulator to another program i.e. notepad.

Not easily. It would need hooks in the OS, which ndless could provide, I suppose.

If someone could post a guide it'd really improve its usability as a PC calculator program I think. I managed to install ndless but don't know what to do beyond that.

There can't be a guide - this isn't implemented yet.

It's fairly complicated and lower priority than other issues.
