Could not save my graphgist

Open alfiafit opened this issue 6 years ago • 8 comments

Hi. In Graphgist Portal I checked my first graphgist in Preview and I wanted to save it. But when I click 'Save and Continue' key, I get the error: "We're sorry, but something went wrong. If you are the application owner check the logs for more information.". My questions are:

  1. what can fail if the preview works well
  2. where I can check the logs (I work in Windows 7/Firefox)

Thank you in advance for a help

(PS: In the upper right corner I can see 'Logged in as' without any name: can it be a clue of something?)

What is the id or title of your graphgist?

@whatSocks can you have a look?

Hi @alfiafit I've found that you've been successfully creating graphgist candidates, but they're not associated with a user. How did you create your user?

Here's one that I approved:

I signed up for the Graphgist portal only via email and password, the site didn't ask me for other data. May I reset my account or give my Github account?

Hi @whatSocks, actually the graph gist you approved is an older version of mine. Does it means that in one case the gist was saved? But I always got the error on saving.

@alfiafit can you try logging in and out and trying to create your graphgist again?

Hi @whatSocks I could see my email in 'Logged in as' box and I could save my graphgist! The fact is that I could save it only when I copied in 'Asciidoc' box, while I got error when I used the link in 'URL' box: maybe this could be a hint for you to fix some other problem. Anyway I submitted the graphgist for approval. Thank you a lot for your support!

Hi @whatSocks, I do not want to be annoying, but I would like to ask you if something is missing or wrong to get the last version of my gist approved. Thanks
