This also causes the problem where `--undo` doesn't undo the affected files because it doesn't realize the conflict.

I like this idea! Seems like it could be a bit tricky to implement, being so OS-specific, but I would definitely accept a PR for it.

Even though this issue is on Spotify's end, it would be a good idea to add a timeout if the Spotify login step fails.
