This may be related to forkless background saving, if anyone is still experiencing this issue can you try disabling forkless background saving with config "use-fork yes"

Hi @dbotwinick was this on version 6.3.1 or 6.3.2, what you described sounds like a combination of bugs that should be fixed with 6.3.3, if the problem persists with 6.3.3...
