Distribution of energy into equal parts among all components connected to a connector

Wouldn't it be more intuitive and sensible to divide the energy into equal parts among all the components connected to a single connector, rather than passing all the possible energy to the first and then to the others?

I don't know if it's a technical issue but other mods seem to be able to do it, so I don't think it's impossible.

Possibly it would be ideal to add a button in the settings to be able to choose which type of energy distribution to use.
