I just checked back if there were new tools like storm but can't find any new one.

I think about 2 solutions to support storm:

fork storm and add an --assh option to support assh config file
create a wrapper that will use storm to generate a new .config file, compute the difference between the old .config file and the new one, and patch .config.advanced with the converted difference
