Support for app notification

Any plan to support a feature to send app notifications?

I, at least, was not aware of this feature. This looks super similar to Facebook app requests and I don't see why they chose to duplicate already existing functionality.

I think it would be a good idea to support this at some point in the future, but I think having a more comprehensive test suite (so some of the current pull requests can be merged) and better documentation take precedence.

From my short observation, it seems app notifications is intended to be used for more generic cases. I'll try out app requests to see if it has any shortcomings compared to app notifications. If both parties have identical features, there is no need to support app notifications.
