Update: I did a quick mock up (e.g., https://github.com/mmore500/dishtiny/blob/522b74e36844790cad71a6a7e492ef53caab904f/web/includes/population-loader.html) but this would definitely benefit from using python to unpack a data file (like we did for the view key)
