Two events this week
Event 1: Get to know Mark Huber
- Today (20 Feb) 11:45AM - 1PM
- Bauer Center South 22
- abstract: What is a number? In mathematics, that simple question has had many answers over the years. In this talk, the idea of number, what it means, how it affects mathematics, and how these notions have changed over the centuries will be explored. In addition, it will become clear that there is a missing number system that often slips under the radar in the undergraduate mathematics major that ties these ideas together.
Event 2: I'll be talking my time in North Korea
- Friday (24 Feb) 7PM-8:30PM
- Founder's Room of the Bauer Center
- This is part of the 5Cs Intervarsity Club, which is a Christian club. I'll be focusing about what it was like to be a Christian in North Korea.
I forgot to remind you all in lab this morning that the North Korea event is tonight, and I'd love to see you all there if you're able to come :)
