Would like to point out that me and my partner can both quit in local terminals but not in shared.
Thanks for reporting this issue. Could you please tell us if you were a host or guest in this session and if both of you were unable to exit out of the terminal?
I was a guest, but the host could not exit either.
@fubaduba Hey, any updates on this?
@fubaduba I'm still having this issue, any updates?
@fubaduba Have you any updates on this?
This happened to me too. As a workaround, I used CTRL+Z to move the process into the background and killed it.
im having same issue too, im guest, i have Linux and the host Windows
it may be a Windows issue, sometimes the windows MINGW terminal writes over the log, and reproduces the same in Linux with terminal write permission.
I discovered it when i connected my pc to my friend via TeamViewer

I'm still having this issue. Any update on this issue? @fubaduba
Same here, Ctrl+C doesn’t work with Linux hosts/remotes in VSCode terminals
+1, same issue here.
