I've been using https://memoet.fly.dev/ for a while and love using it. But the website is down and I'm concerned that I've lost all my study data.

Will the website come back and if, not is there a way to export the data?

Hi. Thanks for using the app, unfortunately due to a mistake in manual database config on fly.io, the DB is completely destroy without any backup. Really sorry for your lost.

The point of self-host app is to avoid issue like this, but we have the responsibility ourselves (or lack thereof) because of not warning the hosted app's users.

Man, that stinks! Is there no possibility that fly.io has a backup in the cloud somewhere?

If not, I'll get over it and I'll try doing the self-hosted app.

@anthkris I'm running my own self-hosted Memoet. Let me know if you'd like to use it / or need any help with self-hosting it. Phew, I have a good backup-system in place. Thanks!

@anthkris Fly has "snapshots", but it got purged along with the app. It's a shame.
