Ditto, although I suspect this is not trivial. The other services (at least, all the ones I use) provide web clients, and Franz is just a great wrapper to that, using Electron. Signal, however, doesn't provide a web client, and its standalone client is an Electron app in itself.

If I'm mistaking and this is more trivial than I thought, then add me to the list of people who would love to have Signal integrated.

We would need to make a web version out of the electron app and integrate that one into Franz. The code is open source and can be modified and distributed as we want.

pretty please!!! only msg app I miss on Franz.. otherwise: franz is just the best and most important app I install on any computer straight away... there seems to be: Signal Desktop is an Electron application that links with Signal https://github.com/signalapp/Signal-Desktop

Would also really appreciate if signal would be useable via franz.

I would like this also. They already have an electron app. But I don't think they like to have alternate clients for their platform. It would be great.

Hi, I would also love to see signal within Franz and I see there have been a lot of requests and duplicates for signal... Will it ever be included and is there any place to see the progress status for it? Thanks

Building signal into franz would destroy the security of signal. It really shouldn't be done and it's hard to understate the non-trivial nature of the task. It's literally building an app within an app.
