[feature request]. Users/ Groups and Sync

I really like this application. Simple and to the point. I still manage my task details per day with everdo but WeekToDo is great to keep focus on the main goal of the week.

Having user accounts/ groups and being able to sync/share with these directly would be a killer feature.

I will try it with syncthing and I assume it will work but it does not solve users / groups/ assignments.

I was definitely considering writing to make the same request. The developer might think this feature is against privacy, but at least the google drive sync feature would be great.

Hi guys, yes I have in mind work in a sync feature base on clouds. Right now syncthing It should not work since what is created is a database in the browser's indexedDB, when I work on this I have to implement another mechanism to store the information in files.

About Users/ Groups what do you mean with this, can you explain your idea a little more :)

Users/Groups:

Basically, I'd like (when the sync is working) to be able to assign/tag tasks to groups/users.

Actually, I think a tagging system is already enough as I would use this only for 2-3 people, so it is still feasible to trust everyone to correctly tag and untag certain tasks.

Oh and lastly I noticed it is not possible to have empty lines in the app. That would be great for more easily grouping tasks.

Thanks @cocoonkid the tagging system looks like a good option for collaborative work. When we reach that point I think it would be necessary to be able to create different workspaces

just updating here regarding my experience with syncthing so far. In my small team of 3 persons total it is usable as we only allow one person to make edits at a time. So far no issues :-)

Stumbled upon this from https://github.com/manuelernestog/weektodo-web/issues/76 - Sync with gdrive etc would be really awesome feature to have! Hope you can consider adding it soon? @manuelernestog

Hi @ashutoshsaboo thanks for writing. Yes, it's on the road map, although I have to see how I reform it because google charges applications for the use of these integrations, perhaps it will have to make a plus version that integrates this type of behavior for a small price. Regards :wave: .
