hard crash when installing MS FlightSimulator 2020 data (1.7.8.1)

My version of Windows is 10.0.19042, WinBtrfs is 1.7.8.1. I have been struggeling ot get MSFS 2020 to run properly. I totally neglected that I had installed it on a partiton using btrfs as it runs quite fine, except for my issue:

The program starts and starts to download its game data (~150GB). At some point the programm will go into a download loop, i.e. try to get the same package over and over again. These packages seem to be zip files which then get extracted. In this loop scenario the package is downloaded, extracted and then the whole stuff deleted again (integrity check failure?). If I let this run for a while the system will eventually crash hard and reboot immediately.

Now I tried this again on NTFS and it works like it is supposed to.
