Nodes that won't KCT-unlock
One issue we hit in 1.2 on the old RP-0 tree, and also now on the new one (on a different node) is that sometimes when you go to R&D and unlock a node, then try to unlock a child node, the child refuses to unlock. However, the child displays its prereqs as being met, and the prereq node appears highlighted, but to no avail. The only way around this is to wait until the research complete and the node truly unlocks.
Minimal repro: Grab CTT, and grab this file: https://github.com/KSP-RO/RP-0/blob/master/GameData/RP-0/CTTChanges.cfg
Start a new career save, cheat yourself science, and queue up through Mature Orbital Rocketry. Then exit the R&D screen and return. Then re-unlock through Mature Orbital Rocketry and try to unlock Early Hydrolox. It should fail to unlock.
@pap1723 remind me, which node are we encountering this on in the new tree?
For the new tree it is very early, the Post-War Rocketry node does not show the parts that unlock in it, and also it blocks the following tech, Early Rocketry from unlocking in the same manner as described above.
The new tree uses custom icons however so is harder to repro with.

You can use it without the custom icons. They default to the two gears if they cannot find the icons linked.
