Since they are private use characters, Powerline symbols are available on graphemica. I can provide the official font patcher's font file, though: https://github.com/powerline/fontpatcher/blob/develop/fonts/powerline-symbols.sfd The only one I wouldn't like added is the block glyph.

I tried making them myself, but they simply didn't end up being as sharp as your glyphs regardless of hinting.

As you may be able to tell, the arrows are meant to be flush with the left or right bearing as well as the line height.

no problem - I actually finished them anyways. Can easily be adjusted. Edit: The latest ttf in the andreas branch has them.

There are a couple corrections to the arrow glyphs I'm making, but overall, great job! I suppose that since the glyphs are meant to match the line height I'll need to modify the build script to modify the points, but that's not a huge deal :+1:

What about an upright Asterisk * ? Your's is upside down compared to most other fonts. Not that it bothers me, but some people might like the usual form, it could become an alternative version… (btw, I'd like to hear why you decided that way)

"*" was a personal preference - looks less similar to "+" to me I actually think 6 spoke is just as common as "upright" I could easily add an alternate but problem is it would double the amount of font combinations (currently 4x 3200 files)

Wow...that's quite a few:) I don't have any time the next week or two I'm afraid but they are easy to draw so anyone can do it.

It should just fit the grid. Lines are 128pt wide and 120 pt tall. (256pt and 240pt for bold).

The upper point is at 1664 and the lower at -384.

I've made a branch for it and compacted the encoding so it's easy to see what characters it is.

How about UP TACK, used to represent bottom in Haskell? http://graphemica.com/⊥
