My working solution to #16 and #53

These changes got it working again on my ~amd64 gentoo box using plasma 5.17.4

I tested this PR on Archlinux using Plasma 5.17.4 and it works fine!

I've also applied these changes to ~/.local/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.thermalMonitor/contents/ui/main.qml (on my Kubuntu 21.04 machine) and they work flawlessly. Finally after logging in I don't have to right-click on Thermal Monitor --> Reload Temperature Sources anymore to get rid of (3 out of 4) sensors showing "off".

@kotelnik could you please consider merging it?
