Suggestion: Add Mastodon API support

Summary

This is a big feature of Firefish, Sharkey and Iceshrimp

Purpose

It will make misskey profiles accessible for mastodon users

what do you mean accessible?

I mean that people using a mastodon client would be able to see and access my posts. Because at the moment they cannot be seen in the section below my profile where posts would usually appear.

that's just a federation issue, nothing to do with the mastodon API. post backfill (automatically fetching all previous posts on follow) would fix this though

OH YOU'RE RIGHT, it never consistently shows posts, but it technically works. Sorry, I'm not too familiar with the whole fediverse yet. I'll close it because I don't personally need it, but anyone is free to reopen

Regardless, I'm interested in this feature too. Not sure how hard it would be to pull commits from Sharkey into here, since this is just one out of multiple commits regarding it: https://activitypub.software/TransFem-org/Sharkey/-/commit/2375d043d16ddd099efdc9a56c075cb9ea580b66. Should this be a separate issue, or can we reopen this here? I Don't want to clog the issue tracker, but at the same time don't know how organized the maintainer wants things to be.

I would love to see this feature also!!

This allows you to use Mastodon client apps like IceCubes app, Mammoth and others with "*key" based accounts. I was able to do this with Firefish, but Sharkey didn't seem to work as I think their Mastodon API support still needs some work.

While this issue does not impact those of us using a desktop, I would like to see the Mastodon API imported as well, as it would help with backward compatibility.
