Some characters not rendering in italics or blockquotes

Fantastic application by the way; really hits a sweet spot for me: just enough features to do what I want, without anything extra to distract me.

However, I've noticed some strange rendering issues after a recent update. Screenshots:

Just to ensure that the issue was not related to the theme I was using, I checked using the built-in default theme as well, and got similar results, though it doesn't seem to be as often:

I'm using version 0.2.7, installed from Flathub on Fedora 37 with Gnome.
