ThiefMD crashes & quits upon attempt to enter new document name with touch

Creating a new document (with CTRL+N) is impossible on touch-enabled devices. Such as the PinePhone. This is because ThiefMD currently completely crashes and quits if a new document name input field is touched with a finger to enter text.
