Doesn't work with vscode Remote-ssh

Open starsholic opened this issue 4 years ago • 4 comments

Hi, Kite works well on my local environment(MacOS Catalina). But when I ssh on the server(Centos7) through Mac or Windows, after I install the Kite plugin on the remote server, it reminds Kite engine is not installed. But when I click on the Install button, nothing happens and it reveals that Kite not installed. It is wierd that my classmates work with Kite and Remote-ssh on the vscode successfully.

I too get "Kite: not installed". I can't install kite on my remote, but do have kite on my local setup. Is this something that is planned to be fixed?

Any update on this issue? Still a blocker to using Kite on Remote-SSH VS Code as of September 2022.
