I can't see anything obvious that could cause this in either of the addons. But I believe I remember to have had some problems with modifying the mainkeyset as is done here: https://github.com/kimabrandt/yarip/blob/ac28cb4ee0df3d06322d1cf8f7c2184df624e149/chrome/content/overlay.js#L504 That's why I created my own keyset. But if this were the problem, it should occur independently from image-forward...
