Unfortunately, there isn't much that can be done right now until the necessary changes/fixes are made within the TinyGo compiler.

@aljo242 Would you prefer I use the new config version system, as there is some duplicate work in the original version of this PR, compared to the new config version...

I also ran into this issue recently. I made a quick fix on my fork, and would happily open a PR to address this issue if you're open to it....

Sorry, got caught up with regular work tasks. Happy to bring this up to parity with development. Unfortuently Ive originally duplicated all the config changes, so just need to rip...

@aljo242 thanks for the ping, can happily re-open. Made some great progress rebasing to develop

One problem however I see after reviewing the code, is that when adding a row, recalculate() is called to find the appropriate width for all the columns and what not....
