@jonathanrainer I tried to run the tests, it seems to me that the error is caused by umask in the driver container. `cat /proc/1/status` shows `Umask: 0022` there and [MkDirAll](https://pkg.go.dev/os#MkdirAll)...

I want a new cmdline option, e.g. `--metrics-address=127.0.0.1:8001`, so I can set the interface + port where the driver exposes a port for metrics. Right now, the driver is deployed...
