It would be great to have a page which displays all the local identities which are configured to be discoverable. Something like a public "local identity directory".

BTW On the profile settings page I can read "If this user is visible on the frontpage and in user directories.", so I was wondering if there already is a user directory?

We used to show identities on the front page but it was a bit strange (ordered by most recent signup, you only saw 5) so we nixed it in favour of the local timeline. I do agree there should be a proper directory though.

Please include system option to not show a public directory.
