Problem with Import on startup

Open zdzisiu3 opened this issue 1 year ago • 1 comments

Hello, I am trying to configure the Import on startup function in the latest version of the add-on. I provided different import paths but the option never worked. What I care most about is importing from a mapped drive in Windows. Please help.

Hi John,

I have the same problem. I am trying to access a shared drive from Linux, Mac OS and Windows. The automatic import doesn't work, but the file seems fine as I can import it manually. What feature is used that the file does not create duplicate texts or adjust the appropriate one if it has been changed, I have not seen any ID in the xml file. Best regards and keep up the good work!

The import features uses the name of the groups and the name of the templates/script for identification. If an existing group is used, the imported templates are imported into that same group. If the template itself exists already, it is replaced. Same for scripts.

In the most recent pre-release, you can use managed storage or import via https:// urls. Import via any other means will not be possible.
