UI doesn't update properly and is often 1 or more steps behind

The Flowblade UI doesn't update correctly, it is often multiple steps behind. Like if you try to tweak a filter's key frames to show a cropped andzoomed portion of an video, and you're licking back and forth on the key-frame icons the parameters for the filter do not always update. In fact, they are often several clicks behind.

Even more annoying is that if you do not click absolutely perfectly on the centre of the key-frame icon, it will move the key-frame a frame to the right or left.

My laptop is a Dell XPS 15 9510 with an Intel Core i9 11900H (8 cores, and 64 gigs or memory. That's not the latest & greatest any more, about three years old, but powerful enough to know that it's no the problem. I run Ubuntu 22.04 LTS.
