Like in title, Can you give some information about what are plans for this project or maybe it is already dead?

Thanks for asking. It is not dead of course. You will hear news about it soon (in a month or so) about the future plan of this project.

Great to hear. Forked your project and created some changes most in validation module. Could you look into it and give some feedback?

Some of changes:

• whole project is compatible now with javafx 8.40 beta
• validation support for datepicker
• better ability to css customization
• more freedom of decoration creation (support for lambda expression)
• ability to create decoration using FontAwesome font.
• support for observable status of validation group
• some helper methods

I hope that you have plans to create javafx controls like you did with swing :) It is a shortage of professional third party controls even that cost.

Thanks. I just merged all your changes as I didn't figure out how to merge them selectively. Anyway I will look at them in details and discuss with you if I had to reject some.

For the lack of components, it just takes time I think. We built Swing components since 2002. Swing has been there for many years before we had our first component. In that sense, components for JavaFX, were built a lot of faster than it was with Swing.

Is jidefx-oss still alive ?

We are not actively working on the project anymore inside our company. Anyone out there can still modify the code to meet their need or merge the change in if they want to.
