Feature/django 1.9 compatibility
To support Django 1.9, I have added the get_contents functions to the template loader. Also, I needed Mock for some assertions. Therefore I chose to use setup.py to define the mock requirement, resulting in a different way to run the tests. I've updated the readme accordingly.
:+1: Works like a charm
+1 This works perfect! Thanks!
Many thanks too! When could we expect a release on https://pypi.python.org/pypi, otherwise I could not use in my new django project
Hello,
As this repository sadly doesn't seems to be maintained anymore (it's been 3 years now), I've forked it, integrated this patch and upload it on pypi under django-hamlpy. You can find the result here: https://github.com/Psycojoker/django-hamlpy
I'm looking for a third co-maintainer (to avoid having an unmaintained project again), ideally someone that wishes to use it with the jinja2 part of django but that's not mandatory.
@jessemiller if you ever come back to hamlpy feel free to join :)
Many thanks for the news
I am not sure to have enough time to help to maintain this project. We will have to migrate a django 1.8 project to a newer version during the next year. All the templates of this project are written with hamlPy. Yet it is not decided if the templates are going to be re-written in pure html or if the dependencies to hamly will be kept. I am not in charge of the decision. But, if we keep hamlPy dependencies, I hope, I could find some time to help fixing some problem, if any ....
Many thanks again et have a nice week-end
