Describe the solution you'd like It would be lovely to see the pre-rolls when using the Jellyfin desktop app. Since most of my library is in x265 (yea I know sigh but but disk space) I can't really use the browser. Jellyfin is also hosted on a RPi so I can't really transcode.

A Jellyfin core team member told me it will need to be the clients that implement following the plugin or not - if I understand correctly.

Additional context I think it adds a little customization to people setups and it's fun! This is low priority :)

I just found this plugin and I'm in the same situation. I also have my Jellyfin instance on a RPi and use jellyfin-mpv-shim to avoid transcoding. It would be pretty awesome if Intros were implemented here.

It would be great if the pre roll intros work with mpv shin
