                                    I believe #23350 should resolve this. Since the type change constitutes a breaking change, this will be in the next major version (v13).
@jolalas can you link to the documentation for this new property? Feel free to send a PR to add this if it's captured by the types defined in this repo.

Angular material and cdk will both adopt signals when support is further along. It's a long-term goal for the team to ensure that all of Angular's first-party offerings are signal-based...
