We could have a hybrid approach, where we automatically check (and warn if nothing is found) and still allow this to be set manually. We should probably adjust the keywords...

This information could also be shown in the `repr` for easy checking!

Thats a good question, TBH. @dcherian, you seem to have somewhat departed from the naming to make the argument a boolean? What do you think is the best cf-style naming?
