If I want to say Bob is Alice's father, but haven't created a page for Bob yet, I should be able to type Bob's name in for a link and create Bob from the submitted form (as well as set Alice as his daughter). Very highly requested feature.

Feedback dump:

I would like to be able to add friends, family, cities, etc, without having an entry for that specific place or person. So if my character has three siblings who never appear in the story, I'd like a way to just list their names, without having to make a character page for each.

I think an interesting way to flesh out characters would be allowing to create them when you're filling up the forms for items, groups or pretty much anything else. It's great that we have a little drop-down box to make things simpler, but there are some times when you want to create everything about this certain item in one go, and you get this great idea for the character on the spot while creating the lore for so-and-so.

Ability to add a new character/language/etc from a field. Say I'm in Characters, and I want to add a character's Brother. I would like, from the dropdown list, to have an 'add new' option, so I can navigate a little easier from each area. Perhaps make it so that the edits you were making (say to Character A) are then saved automatically, so that when you navigate away to create character B (the brother from the example..er...for example) you don;t lose your work? OR simply an option to add in JUST a name, without making a whole new character tab, for notekeeping purposes. (So that I have say, Bob's mother's name handy for future reference, but I don't want/need to make her her own character because she's only ever vaguely referenced.)

I'd like to be able to put something in character fields like names of parents, siblings, etc, without having to actually have that character created and linked.

When creating a family, there is no option to use a text field to assign a name to a family role without first creating the person as their own character object. While i can see the appeal of arranging things around like this, eventually I might want to just label someone "Grandpa Joe" without having to create a page for him.

How about the ability to create new cards while editing a new card? Like if I made the character Jane and I want to add Susan as her best friend, I first have to save Jane, then create Susan, then add Jane as Susan's best friend, then go back and add Susan as Jane's best friend. (Although "best-friendness" isn't necessarily reciprocal...) What if instead I could select a "New Character" option while choosing Jane's best friend, and choose the name of the character there?
