For each content type it would be very helpful to provide a curated list of resources to help with developing that type of content.

So some place to list inspirational material, references, artwork, and stuff like that?

I love it! I think #108 could allow for some simple info, like links to other pages, but that doesn't sound very inspirational. I'm wondering if we can expand 108 to support this kind of thing.

Did you have a vision of how this could look? Having a "Resources" tab sounds good, and customizable fields for links and stuff would be a good first step. For images, this would be an extension of #52; we still need to sort out our image hosting solution.

My initial thought was just a tab with a list of links, possibly categorized, and a button to display a form for suggesting a resource for addition to the list. I was originally thinking about it in the context of Languages, which would likely mostly be web links and PDFs.

That sounds very feasible, I'll test out #108 to see if custom fields can handle that sort of think. I think it just needs to turn URLs into <a> tags in order to make this easy.

@Cantido FWIW, #124 converts links to <a> tags in field values, if it's helpful here.

@babelfish Thinking about this, did you mean a list curated by us (devs) provided to all users, or a tab for users to curate their own list (probably per content, if we go with a Resources tab on content?)?

I think #108 can handle the latter, but I also really like the former. It'd be really fun to pool together a ton of inspirational/motivating resources for building out each aspect of your world. I feel like I would just lose days of time both curating and browsing through something like that. :+1:

The former, it would be especially helpful for people who may be looking into an area of worldbuilding they've never dabbled in before, but even when you have experience it'd nice to have a lists of reference material for each subject.
