@DanaMW GN is not working correctly when "Conversion Mode" is off. If you turn it on again, the count would be one in the Gmail UI as well.

@DanaMW do you also get https://github.com/inbasic/ignotifier/issues/449#issuecomment-278630008 error in the browser console (Ctrl + Shift + J) every 30 seconds when you are on the dev version?

GN is not compatible with turning threading off is Gmail. Google feed only provides id of threads not single emails. To use GN you need to turn conversion mode on.
