CFile for YII 2?

I wonder if there are plans to upgrade this for YII 2 since Beta is out now and what would be the best way - create a new repository for the CFile 2.0 or modify this one?

It'd probably a good idea to have the same functionality in Yii 2 if there isn't such out of the box. I haven't seen a new component API yet to take a decision concerning the right path for CFile in Yii 2.

If there is a way and sense in keeping CFile name and API intact the repository should probably stay the same.
