Celeste crashes when opened after few seconds. I cannot even set up a new cloud connection
Celeste crashes when opened after few seconds. I cannot even set up a cloud connection. The app is completely unusable for me. I have Fedora silverblue 38. Screencast from 2023-07-03 18-59-36.webm
Is there no unknown error screen that pops up @jbingram? If not, running Celeste from a terminal might reveal some clues as well.
Very weird, it is systematically crashing if I run it by clicking on the launcher, but it is not crashing if I terminal: Flatpak run com.hunterwittenborn.Celestex. With the terminal option, I had the time to create and link my nextcloud account. Then I started to synchronize for the first time, but ultimately the instance of Celeste ran from the terminal also crashed after a minute.
What do you think is happening?
The only info I can read on the terminal is this one: (.tmpGS7jBA:90): Gtk-CRITICAL **: 23:16:14.324: gtk_widget_get_scale_factor: assertion 'GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed
I'm not sure what might be going on @jbingram - could you try running rm -r ~/.var/app/com.hunterwittenborn.Celeste though? That'll delete all of Celeste's configuration files (and you'll likewise have to set up all remote connections again), but that'd be my best guess as to what might be messing Celeste up.
