Hi, thanks for the contribution. What issue does this solve?

Hi, it should allow the tests to be run from the sdist uploaded onto PyPI, which is useful for distro packaging. e.g. https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:jayvdb:py-new/python-hjson isnt running tests yet, as they fail due to missing data.
