Would this talk be welcome?

I did this talk at a Rust meeting here in Austin, but it was not recorded there, so I repeated it on twitch the next day. Not sure if it adheres to the spirit of the rules. It is a talk on how to use SIMD intrinsics, with Rust, though applicable to C/C++ as well.

Historically I’ve been shying away from screencast/twitch-style talks because it opens up the space of possible talks to submit even more. That said, I’m happy to revisit this discussion going forward!

In my mind, the pros are that these kinds of talks are often just as interesting as talks given at conferences, and they’re worth watching—in fact I’m watching your talk right now!

The con is that this might bloat the list and muddy the scope even more. The list is pretty huge as it is, and if we open up the space of possible submissions even more, the usefulness of the list might degrade.

I welcome any and all of you to voice your own opinions here as well?

(Also, off-topic: I’ve had a massive influx of stargazers and forks in the last few minutes. What happened?)

@SacuL I just saw! That makes sense—I always underestimate the power of link aggregators like that. Well, welcome! I hope everyone can take away a good talk or two from this list!
