V 11.4.28 "Set all on this page to Temporarily Trusted" has stopped working for Google

Open IanC140 opened this issue 2 years ago • 2 comments

Since V 11.4.28 was installed I get the message that javascript is not running when I first try to access a Google doc through a link. The option "Set all on this page to Temporarily Trusted" has no effect, and I have to close and re-start the browser -- then if I disable restrictions globally and login to Gmail, for example, it works. This may be more that just google because another site (https://www.iweathernet.com/interactive-radar) complains that I have an adblocker installed even though all are disabled for that site. I cannot get access to the site until I restart do the steps outlined above. This does not happen every time, but has happened every day when I first access these sites that day.

Thank you for your report.

  1. Which browser are you using?
  2. Does the problem happen if you're reaching the site from a link outside the browser while the browser is closed (and therefore you're launching it)?
  3. Did you try to reload the page, rather than restarting the browser?

Hi Giorgio,

  1. Firefox v119.0 (32 bit)

  2. Yes

  3. Yes, reloading was the first thing I tried, and repeated it with no success.

Now that I think of it, Youtube has behaved the same way starting about 3 months ago. I launch from a link, and youtube is blocked (my default), but when I allow YT in Noscript sometimes it does not display. I have to create a new tab and copy the URL into the new tab.

Thank you for thinking about this

-Ian
