Facilitate access to different spaces by users
Hello,
We are experiencing a UX problem that I am describing:
Some users who arrive at their personal space on the home page don't understand how to switch spaces to find the document they are looking for.
A quick access to the other spaces in the sidebar on the left could make it easier to identify which space I'm on and help change spaces more easily.
Let me know if this sounds like a good idea and could be implemented?
Thanks
Hi @Aurelie-Jallut, I think we've seen similar confusion. Steps we already took were to add an "Other Sites" section on the home page, and a dropdown in the top left.

Something in the sidebar could help too. Maybe something more radical could also be worth attempting. Is it likely that these users have nothing in their personal space? Perhaps for a user arriving who has nothing in their personal space, but who has access to other sites, the "Other Sites" section could be made more inviting and obvious?
Looking as a completely fresh user who has access to a site, I see:
(this is for our SaaS, tutorials+templates may be absent in other configurations). The "Other Sites" section could be easy to miss, but this page could be rearranged to be more helpful. It is true there is space in the sidebar, a list of sites could help.

Indeed there are many different elements on the central page that are not necessarily a priority for someone looking for a document in another space
@anaisconce Do you have a recommendation regarding these returns ? :)
Ping @kbizien @anaisconce, because it's related to onboarding
