What is the current behavior?

Fildem sometimes locks the other elements of the dash/panel (eg: applets by other apps, the calendar menu, the dropdown menu on the right, etc). To open/interact with those items/buttons, one needs to spam click multiple times until the click is registered. The only way to get to get the dock out of this state is to restart Gnome by alt+f2 + r.

This issue was once mentioned in the repo discussions.

Steps to reproduce the problem

1. Compile & install extension from source.
2. Configure as usual & leave it running
3. Observe random menu locking

What is the expected behavior?

The other elements should respond with a single click.
