Need to investigate "acorn" and "escodegen" libs, as those are what I think I'll be using, but not positive yet.

you should definitely take a look at https://github.com/veged/krasota.js

You could also use cst. It could be used to the cst instead of waiting for a standard. Another option is build it more as a plugin for jsshaper.
