Add Dublin Core RDF metadata export

Open ninsbl opened this issue 5 years ago • 0 comments

Would be great if pyCSW could export metadata to Dublin Core RDF (https://www.dublincore.org/specifications/dublin-core/dcmes-xml/), so it can be easily imported into Bibliography software like Zotero...

It currently allows (e.g. through GeoNode) Download of Dublin Core XML, but that is not supported by Zotero. Zotero requires Unqualified Dublin Core RDF https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/11398/zotero-rdf-dublin-core-rdf

Being able to import metadata into Bibliographic software would make it much easier (and less time consuming) to cite data properly...

There is supposed to be a standard for mapping ISO and Dublin Core: https://joinup.ec.europa.eu/solution/mapping-between-dublin-core-and-iso-19115-geographic-information-metadata/releases

This has some overlapp with the request for DataCite output #623.
